How Cartsetu applications, services, and support are offered.

Acceptance of terms

These Terms of service govern your access to and use of the Cartsetu website, services, and Shopify applications.

By accessing our website, using our services, or installing any Shopify application published by Cartsetu, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.


About Cartsetu

Cartsetu provides Shopify-focused development services, software applications, integrations, technical consulting, and related ecommerce solutions.


Website use

You agree to use the website lawfully and in a manner that does not violate applicable laws or regulations, interfere with the operation of the Services, attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, distribute harmful software or malicious content, or infringe upon intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to users who violate these Terms.


Professional services

Cartsetu may provide services including Shopify theme development, Shopify app development, store optimization, migration services, technical consulting, and ongoing support.

Specific project requirements, timelines, deliverables, pricing, and payment terms may be governed by separate agreements, proposals, or statements of work.


App usage

Cartsetu applications are provided for legitimate merchant business use and must be used in accordance with Shopify policies and applicable laws.

Users are responsible for reviewing app behavior before applying it to production stores.

By installing and using a Cartsetu application, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify remains responsible for operating the Shopify platform, application functionality may depend on Shopify APIs, platform features, and third-party services, certain features may change as Shopify updates its platform, you are responsible for maintaining a valid Shopify account, and you are responsible for reviewing and configuring app settings appropriately.


Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining accurate store information, configuring discounts, promotions, and settings correctly, reviewing application behavior before publishing changes to customers, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining appropriate backups of critical business information.

Cartsetu is not responsible for configuration mistakes, operational decisions, or business outcomes resulting from settings selected by merchants.


Subscription fees and billing

Certain applications or services may require payment.

Where applicable, fees will be disclosed before purchase.

Billing may be processed through Shopify or approved third-party providers.

Subscription charges may recur automatically unless canceled.

Merchants are responsible for reviewing pricing details before subscribing to a service or application.


Refund policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all fees, subscription charges, service payments, consulting fees, migration fees, and development fees are non-refundable.

Cartsetu does not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, unused services, merchant configuration errors, changes in business requirements, store closures, lack of usage, merchant misunderstandings of documented functionality, dissatisfaction arising from features functioning as described, or custom development work after work has commenced.

Merchants may cancel subscriptions at any time through Shopify or the applicable billing platform. Cancellation will prevent future billing but will not result in refunds for previously paid charges.

Refunds may only be issued where required by applicable law or at Cartsetu's sole discretion.


Data and privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that Cartsetu may collect, process, and store information necessary to provide functionality, support, security, and operational services.


Availability and service changes

We strive to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may modify features, improve functionality, release updates, deprecate features, or suspend services for maintenance without prior notice when reasonably necessary.

Service availability may depend on Shopify APIs, store configuration, and third-party dependencies.


Third-party services

The Services may interact with Shopify, payment providers, hosting providers, analytics services, and other third-party systems.

Cartsetu is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or actions of third-party services.


Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided on an as is and as available basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cartsetu disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every business use case.


Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cartsetu shall not be liable for lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption, loss of customers, data loss, indirect damages, consequential damages, or special damages arising from the use of the Services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable Service during the twelve months preceding the claim.


Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cartsetu from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, violation of applicable laws, misuse of Shopify applications, or content or data provided by you.


Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated, required fees remain unpaid, continued access presents security or operational risks, or we are required by law to do so.

You may discontinue use of the Services at any time.


Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Cartsetu operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.


Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
